To produce precise 2D plans, including floor layouts, site plans, and structural drawings, one must first learn how to use drawing tools, coordinate systems, layers, dimensions, text, and editing commands. After that, it advances to more complex features for professional documentation, such as blocks, annotations, plotting, and layout setup. Students create realistic structures and terrain models in the 3D section by learning solid and surface modelling, viewing techniques, rendering, and visualisation.
